Business Support Associate

Responsibilities

  • help fill the short-term needs of other administrative departments in our New York City office in areas such as administrative support, accounting, investor relations, legal support, operations, tax, and treasury
  • manage and organize hard-copy records
  • coordinate the systems-based employee out-of-office calendar
  • interact on site with employees in our NYC office and occasionally in our Long Island office
  • coordinate the employee gift-matching program
  • initiate vendor invoices for payment
  • coordinate events and handle special projects
  • provide phone coverage

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • bachelor’s or higher academic degree
  • strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • positive mindset as a team player willing to learn multiple roles across different disciplines
  • flexibility and the capacity to manage competing demands and deliverables
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • polite, outgoing, motivated, coachable, and enthusiastic attitude
  • solid understanding of professional office etiquette
  • ability to work overtime, as required
  • familiarity with accounting/finance (considered a plus)
  • securities industry experience (considered a plus)
Salary Range: $79,000 - $100,000
