This Careers Site Privacy Notice (the “Notice”) is applicable to all information collected by Renaissance from you during your use of our Careers site (the “Careers Site”). Your Consent
Submitting your personal information on the Careers Site is entirely voluntary, and you are free to decide what types of personal information, if any, you submit to us. However, if you choose not to submit your personal information, this may limit our ability to consider your candidacy. By agreeing to the terms of this Notice, you agree to the transfer of personal information about you to Renaissance and its service providers that may be located in the United States or other jurisdictions. Please be aware that if you refuse to provide certain recruitment information in connection with your employment application, we may not be able to process your employment application.
Information You Provide
The types of information requested from you and the manner in which that information is collected and assessed are determined by the requirements of the United States. This Notice covers any personal information you submit through the Careers Site as part of the job application or job search process, including details contained in your resume. If you intend to provide Renaissance with any personal information about a reference or any other third party as part of your resume or job application, you hereby represent to Renaissance that you have obtained that third party's consent before passing the third party’s personal information to us.
You are responsible for the content of the information you provide to Renaissance, and you must ensure it is legal, honest, truthful, accurate, and not misleading in any way.
Use of Personal Information
Renaissance operates the Careers Site to support Renaissance’s recruitment functions. Personal information you provide through the Careers Site will be collected, used, transferred, and disclosed (“processed”) by Renaissance for recruitment functions and related management and planning purposes as permitted by law in the United States.
Disclosure of Personal Information
Personal information about you will be reviewed by Renaissance employees or agents who have a business need to access such personal information, such as human resources personnel, technical services personnel, and managers or their designees.
Data Retention
We store personal information for as long as necessary to carry out the purposes for which we originally collected it and for other legitimate business purposes, including to meet our legal, regulatory, or other compliance obligations. Personal information about you will be added to our candidate database and will be used for purposes of considering whether your qualifications are suitable for other employment positions available at Renaissance.
Data Security
Renaissance has taken reasonable steps (a) to provide a secure environment for information submitted to or accessible through the Careers Site, (b) to make the Careers Site available to you for your use, and (c) to ensure that there are no viruses or codes that may disrupt your use of the Careers Site or damage your hardware or software as a result of using the Careers Site. You understand that electronic communication systems may not provide a secure environment for your communications with us. It is your sole responsibility to use the appropriate level of care whenever communicating with us.
Notice of Changes
We may change this Notice from time to time to reflect our information collection, use, and disclosure practices or changes in industry practice or applicable laws. Any changes will become effective when we post this Notice on the Careers Site. Your continued use of the Careers Site or your continued contact with Renaissance regarding your application or prospective application following Renaissance’s posting of any revised Notice will constitute your acknowledgment of the amended policy.
